Whether or not you prefer to sit on a veranda and listen to slow orchestras, or you would rather shake your tail feather in an up and coming club, these are some of the locations to take pleasure in whatever music takes your fancy, in a variety of exotic locations around the world:
Reading, England – despite the fact that not the most ‘exotic’ location that pops into mind for a travel destination, the carling festival at reading has decades of pop prowess under its belt, and is now a Mecca for the festival crew every year. The standard form is, if you don’t like an act; lob a plastic bottle at them. Friendly!
Ibiza – even though popularity is beginning to spread to Ayia Napa, Ibiza is still a pilgrimage for the dance crowd. Visit Pacha or Privilege, both clubs that are open until the sun comes up, and dance the night away to a combination of dance, trance and electro-fusion.
Havana, Cuba – Cuban music reigns supreme over peoples beliefs on Cuba, and you can shake your hips to the rumba, the salsa and some of the finest funky Latin jazz music in the world.
Vienna – Strauss, Schubert, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven…. the list of composers who were born, lived in or made music in the city is lengthy. There are music festivals all year round, paying homage to the fine works of the classical musicians, and you can sit and listen in the Vienna Philharmonic.
If you are planning on visiting any of these rhythmic locations, then make certain you have a valid passport and Travel Insurance.
